Did you know that over 250 Million children are sent/forced to work every day?! Their work conditions: un-sanitary, dangerous, hazardous and working in factories without proper ventilation. Common jobs held by Children: Deep Sea Fishing, Matches and Fireworks, Ceramics and Glass, Mining, Agricultire, Prostitution and Slavery.
Q: Do I need a consignment appointment?
A: It depends. If you have just a few things, up to 15 items - NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED.
For more, up to 2 totes - APPOINTMENT REQUESTED.
Q: Do you buy outright?
A: At this time, we do not.
Q: How do you price the items for resale?
A: We use a system of tiers based on Brand of clothing, Size and type of item. Typically items are priced at 33-50% of the retail price.
Q: How do you keep track of my things?
A: We use a computer program especially designed for consignment shops. Every consignor has their own account. All items are entered in the computer and tags are printed with numbers identifying the consignor and item.
Q: Do I need to bring my items on hangers?
a. Nope, we have our own hangers. If the item you wish to consign should to be on a hanger to avoid being wrinkled, then yes please.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: Checks can be picked up in store or mailed at the end of your 60 day consignment period or use the money as you earn it to make store purchases at any time!
Q: Can I get my items back if they don't sell?
A: Of course! You have the option of either donating or picking up your unsold items.
Q: If I don’t pick up, what happens to my things?
A: After the seventh day , they become the property of littlePOSH and/or may be donated to Provision Ministries (a local non-profit that provides a FREE boutique to help clothe mothers and children in the Grand Rapids area.
